L10016 -LIGHTWEIGHT BUT TECHNICALLY SUPERIOR
KNURLED DESIGNED PATENT
The Steel shell is produced with the use or roll forming operation patent using a one single piece of steel. The shell includes a knurled designed patent that facilitates the fusion between the layers of the drum. The shell is mounted in a high-speed rotating fixture and the first stage in the patented process is completed. The first layer of grey iron poured. This enables a better adhesion between the steel shell and the grey iron.
SINGLE PIECE OF STEEL
The pace that the carbon steel shell is formed ad a single piece, enables to show higher rigidity and lower prone to cracking, compared to the two piece welded shells.
The patented forming process is unique, and the extra knurling to the interior of the shell provides the best fusion between the shell and the gray iron.
DUAL LAYER TECHNOLOGY
Improvement on the current centrifugal casting process was achieved by using our patented dual layet technology, By pouring a thinner initial layer, the cast iron fuses to the steel better than any other drums. Better fusions results on optimal thermal transfer during braking and improved strength.
